LOKI-Pack
Which battery conditions is LOKI-Pack intended for?
LOKI-Pack configurations can be assessed for new or tested batteries, used batteries, waste, prototypes, defective or damaged batteries, and critically defective batteries. The appropriate route depends on the battery condition, available information and intended process.
How do I choose between Standard, Universal and Safety?
Useful information includes the battery type, UN number if known, cell, module or pack format, condition, dimensions, weight, energy content, quantity, intended storage or transport use, transport modes and route.
Does LOKI-Pack replace dangerous-goods assessment?
No. Packaging selection and transport classification depend on the battery, condition, route, transport mode, jurisdiction, applicable requirements and approved packaging configuration. The legally responsible assessment remains necessary.
Can the same LOKI-Pack configuration be used for every transport route?
Not automatically. A configuration must be reviewed against the intended use, transport mode, route, battery condition and applicable requirements. Documentation and labeling must match the approved configuration.
Can LOKI-Track be integrated with LOKI-Pack?
LOKI-Track can extend selected LOKI-Pack processes with condition data, alerts, asset management, document access and guided workflows. The available functions depend on the approved technical setup and use case.
LOKI-TES
What is LOKI-TES?
LOKI-TES is a project-based, tailored physical packaging solution for defined battery production and logistics flows. It is developed around the requirements of the agreed application and is reusable for 5 years +.
Which production stages can it address?
It covers cell manufacturing to module integration, module production to pack integration, high-volume handling flows and defined routes for line rejects or production scrap.
Is LOKI-TES a standard product?
LOKI-TES is an individually tailored packaging solution. The relevant geometry, handling requirements, process interfaces and documentation are reviewed for each project.
What information is useful for an initial review?
Production step, cell or module format, dimensions and weight, expected volume, required units (can be proposed from our side), handling method, cleanliness requirements, transport route and project timeline are useful starting points.
LOKI-FlexProtect
Does LOKI‑FlexProtect prevent a battery fire?
No. The bag cannot prevent thermal runaway or guarantee complete fire containment. It provides an additional protective barrier that can help reduce exposure to heat, flames, sparks and particles.
Which batteries fit inside the bag?
It is intended for compatible device batteries like e-bike, e-scooter, drone or power-tool batteries. The battery must fit completely within the nominal usable internal space without stressing the seams or closure.
Can I charge a battery inside the bag?
Yes, provided the battery is undamaged, the correct charger is used and the power supply is placed outside the bag. Charging must remain supervised.
Can I use the bag for a damaged or swollen battery?
No. Do not charge or routinely store batteries that are swollen, leaking, unusually hot or visibly damaged. Isolate the area and seek guidance from the battery supplier, a qualified disposal service or emergency services.
Is the bag suitable for transporting dangerous goods?
The bag is not standalone ADR-approved dangerous-goods packaging. Transport requirements depend on the battery type and condition. LOKI‑FlexProtect may only be used as part of a compliant transport solution where specifically permitted.
Where should I place the bag?
Place it on a stable, dry and non-combustible surface, away from combustible objects, heat sources, children and escape routes.
What should I do if the battery starts smoking?
Do not open, touch or move the bag. Evacuate people from the area, avoid inhaling smoke and call the fire service. Follow the instructions of emergency personnel.
Can I reuse the bag after a battery incident?
No. A bag exposed to fire, extreme heat, smoke, chemical residue or a significant battery incident must be removed from service and replaced.
How should I inspect the bag?
Before every use, check the fabric, seams, zipper and hook-and-loop closure. Do not use the bag if it is torn, contaminated, heavily worn or otherwise damaged.
LOKI-Track
What is LOKI-Track?
LOKI-Track is a digital system consisting of an asset-mounted sensor module, gateway or connectivity layer, cloud platform and mobile application. It adds condition, asset, document and workflow context to approved battery processes.
What can LOKI-Track monitor?
The monitored parameters depend on the approved sensor and technical setup. Possible parameters can include temperature, shock and position.
Can LOKI-Track integrate with LOKI-Pack and LOKI-TES?
LOKI-Track can be considered alongside LOKI-Pack, LOKI-TES, and LOKI-FlexProtect, where asset identity, condition data, alerts, documents or guided workflows are part of the approved application.
Does LOKI-Track replace responsible dangerous-goods personnel?
No. Guided workflows and digital information support the defined process, but legally responsible personnel and the approved dangerous-goods assessment remain part of the operating model.
